Hi Diana,

I hope that we can extend our initial phase of work to encompass the larger bioregion around Puget Sound (and, where appropriate, throughout the Pacific Northwest). Initially we're focusing on the cultural cohesion in Seattle's creative scene, but we have larger ambitions to do something along the lines of what you're suggesting.

If you have ideas regarding how to collaborate, I'd love to hear them!

Best,

I'm very interested in the possibility of this being focussed around a natural 'place' i.e. the Salish Sea, which defines a natural ecosystem. There is lots bubbling on Vanouver Island and in Vancouver and other parts of BC that are so aligned...can we span the human boundaries we have created that separate us??

Dear Joe - this is wonderfully exciting! I've been in so many conversations recently that have also touched on that pulse of "the time is ripe" here (and "so let's hurry up already"). Many of my colleagues and I come from the health and wellness perspective - and of course the work of restoration and sustainability and social system innovation are essential to the health of the human community; our interior and environmental and social ecologies are inseparable.

How do folks who aren't already part of this web that's growing get involved?

warm regards,
Christy Lee-Engel, ND, LAc

Hello Jordan,

You can help! Wherever you are, there are things you can do. Become part of our conversation and spread it to the people you talk with. Bring your ideas to this virtual table and let them be heard. We'll all learn together as we go about our respective works!

Kind regards,
